Kirk Franklin Returns With a New Solo Release 'All Things'

After taking a break from releasing new music as a solo artist, Kirk Franklin has returned with a new single titled "All Things." The song is already receiving positive feedback from fans and critics alike, showcasing Franklin's talent for crafting heartfelt lyrics. In an Instagram post, the 19-time GRAMMY award winner expressed gratitude for his fans' support and made the announcement just prior to the song's release, saying, 'I'll be releasing a brand new song after four years.'

“All Things” comes after a surprise "Saturday Night Live" collaboration with the Jonas Brothers on April 8. With a string of record-breaking achievements and historic milestones under his belt, Franklin continues to make waves in the music industry. Recently, the gospel singer and songwriter made history as the first artist to spend 100 weeks at No. 1 on a songwriters chart, a remarkable feat that speaks to the enduring quality of his music and the loyalty of his fans.

With 13 No. 1 albums on Billboard's Top Gospel Albums chart, Franklin's impact on the chart is unparalleled by any other artist since leading it for the first time in December 1993 with Kirk Franklin And The Family. Additionally, he has charted 14 albums on the all-genre Billboard 200, with five of them reaching the top 10.
Two of Franklin's most popular songs, "Wanna Be Happy?" and "Love Theory," dominated the charts and spent a combined 89 weeks at the top of the Hot Gospel Songs chart. "Wanna Be Happy?" spent 45 weeks at No. 1, making it the third-longest-leading hit in the chart's archives, while "Love Theory" spent 44 weeks on top, the fourth-longest reign.
In total, Franklin's eight leaders on Hot Gospel Songs have spent a combined 144 weeks at No. 1, more than any other act in the chart's history.
